
Dr. Elliott Campbell
Dr. Elliott Harrison Campbell, M.D., F.A.A.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon and dermatologic oncologist. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kentucky before completing his dermatology residency and advanced fellowship training in Mohs Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Mayo Clinic.
During his training at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Campbell served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award, the institution’s highest honor for a trainee, recognizing excellence in clinical care, scholarship, and humanitarian service. He also received the Roy Rogers Award for compassion and excellence in patient care, the Paul A. O’Leary Award for clinical excellence, the Richard R. Winkelmann Research Award for outstanding research achievement, and the Mayo International Health Program Award for his contributions to dermatologic surgery initiatives in Africa.
Dr. Campbell specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, with particular expertise in basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma. He has authored more than thirty-five peer-reviewed publications in dermatologic surgery and skin cancer research and served as lead author of the 2025 national antibiotic guidelines for dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
